How many filtration methods in the filtration market?
Filtration is to use physical or mechanical method to separate solid from liquid and separate solid from gas. Filtration is used often in biological pharmacy, water treatment, air purification, aseptic enrichment, oil and gas separation, and other life and industry fields…
There are four common method as followings:
RO: revers osmosis
UF: Ultrafiltration
NF: nano filtration
MF: micro filtration
Microfiltraion: Using microporous materials to separate particles in size 0.1-10um from liquid.
Widely used in purification, separation, enrichment and aseptic, etc. Compared with RO and nano filtration, the key features of micro filtration is that there is no need pressure system for microfiltration. So micro filtration is occupying 60% in the filtration market, and other three method is occupying 40%.
